Blinds Of All Kinds began with an unexpected leap. Founder Don Gray started his journey packing parachutes for $2.50 apiece in high school, which soon led to skydiving, testing gear, and designing chutes of his own. That same curiosity and hands-on creativity later guided him into the world of interior design, where he discovered the emerging niche of custom window treatments.

In the early 1980s, while visiting family in Brevard County, Don noticed a gap. No one offered full-service window coverings locally. Inspired to fill that need, Don and his wife, Dana, launched Blinds Of All Kinds from their Rockledge garage in 1983. Their focus on craftsmanship, service, and community quickly set them apart, growing the company into a thriving 13,000 square foot operation employing more than 30 people.

Today, their daughter Tiffany Gillett and her husband Gary Gillett carry forward that same entrepreneurial spirit. Together, they are leading Blinds Of All Kinds into its next chapter, building on four decades of integrity and innovation while expanding into new product lines, technologies, and outdoor solutions.

Though Don and Dana have since retired, their values remain the foundation of the company. Under Tiffany and Gary’s leadership, Blinds Of All Kinds continues to grow, staying true to its roots while shaping the future of shading solutions on Florida’s Space Coast and beyond.
