Don Gray began his road to corporate success as a high school student packing parachutes for two dollars and fifty cents each. Packing chutes invariably led to skydiving and skydiving, in this case, led to customizing jump chutes and testing parachute gear. Gray turned his interests in skydiving and chute design toward other commercial avenues and moved into the interior decorating business working with a family friend in the early 1980s where he was first introduced to the growing trend in custom window treatments.
Astute observation while visiting an uncle in Brevard County showed Gray that there was no one else offering full-service window treatments in the area. An idea was born and along with it a new business, providing blinds.
In 1983, Don and his wife, Dana, started the business in the garage of their home in Rockledge. Now, the company operates out of a 13,000 square-foot facility. In 2018, their daughter, Tiffany Gillett, started working for Blinds Of All Kinds. She and her husband, Gary Gillett, are currently learning the business with plans to take the company into a second generation of ownership. Don and Dana have since retired but enjoy staying involved with employee relations and larger company changes when available and as needed. Our company today is the largest business of its kind in our trade area. With more than 30 full-time employees, we are proud of the contributions and opportunities provided for employment in this community.
“We promise our customers an exceptional window treatment buying experience before, during and after the sale!”
Being the number one recognized and referred brand in Brevard and N. Indian River County and continuously exceeding the expectations of our customers with service, quality, and value.
